Sunday, we held our 2009 year end Classic tournament for the Fall Season on Lake Jackson. 

If you like cold, wet and muddy conditions, then you missed a great time.

5 teams qualified for the Classic, and we were all there. Fishing wasn't awful but the conditions were for sure. We fished from safe-light till 3:30 and felt like we were out there for days.

AND NOW THE RESULTS:

The 2009 Fall Classic Champions with 5 fish weighing 12.04 lbs are RANDY and ALBERT LITTLE. If I am not mistaken, this is the 3rd Classic in a row won by this team.

Congrats on a great season and year end win at the Classic!!

Final weights- all teams:

1. Randy/Albert Little                    5 fish @ 12.04 lbs.
2. Jay Donohue/Ron Thomas        3 fish @ 9.56 lbs.  inc Big Bass @ 5.44 (Ron)
3. Michael/Alan Thomas               5 fish @ 8.65 lbs.
4. Robert Turner/Todd Noble         1 fish @ 2.61 lbs.
5. Glen/Kelly Harman                   0 fish

Most fish were caught on crankbaits, surprisingly shallow considering the weather and water temps of 45-49 degrees.

Big fish of the tournament was caught by Ron Thomas (5.44 lbs.) on a black and blue jig on some shallow wood. Great fish Ron!
